When Steve Wynn began construction of the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, it became one of the biggest projects in a city known for doing things in a big way, and every detail had to be right, even the employee parking garage.

The garage is located next to the Las Vegas Monorail and power lines, and protecting those lines – and the people and property within the structure – was a major concern.

The solution was the patent-pending Parkade Screening System by Payne Fence Products, developed specifically for parking garage applications.

More than 40 different decorative and rigid metal meshes can be used within this system providing a variety of benefits, from anti-cut and anti-climb properties to visual screening. The system is also easily adapted to provide architectural cladding and accents, safety screening, as well as wind and weather screening.

For the Wynn Casino parking garage project, a custom woven wire mesh with one-half inch by two-inch openings was employed within a steel frame.
